Study something properly, a little at a time.
Upload a book, a recorded lecture, or a link. Say how many minutes a day you actually have. Halaqat splits the material across those minutes, keeps you honest about what you have covered, and brings the old material back before you forget it.
You can do that alone. You can also do it in a halaqah: a group that shares the same content and the same schedule, and gets through it together.
How it works
-
Add your material
A PDF, a Word document, slides, photographs of pages, an audio or video recording, or a YouTube link. Recordings are transcribed. Photographed pages are read.
-
Say how long you have
Fifteen minutes or two hours, it does not matter which, as long as it is the truth. The plan is built to fit, not to impress.
-
Show up
Each day you get that day's portion and a short quiz on it. Older material returns on its own schedule, because reading something once is not the same as knowing it.
Some things it deliberately does not do
- No streaks that punish you for a bad week.
- No points, no gems, no cartoon animal disappointed in you.
- No advertising, and nothing sold to anyone.
- No leaderboard in your halaqah. You can see how everyone is doing without it being a ranking.
Getting it
Halaqat is in closed testing on Android while the last pieces are finished. An iOS build is being worked on. If you want to be in the test, write to faresgheyath@gmail.com and say which phone you have.
